A lonely walk

                                                                             of darkness
                                                                     and haunting silence.
A solitary soul , walks alone
and chasing him , are the creepy phantom shadows.
The woods has come alive with the scary echoes of the nocturnal world
Howling wind brooms the forest floor,as the resonating crumbles of aching dry leaves
conspires with the divine serenity and mysticism
The lost traveler, scanning the world with a thought in motion ,all unfettered!
belittles the futility of the alluring materialistic world
                                                            The wet grass, all trodden.
                                                                 Reminiscent of steps,
                                                                           he took,
                                                                           a l o n e,

Very profound and beautifully penned, Rohit! So glad you participated in this challenge and unlike myself, abandoned rhymes! I try hard to do that but they refuse to leave me :))

Your new background is hauntingly beautiful! It truly adds an alluring setting to the tone of this sonnet :)
Thanks a lot for directing me towards this one!

I have to agree with ~*Princesa Fiona*~. The background adds a kind of mysticism to the tone of this piece. The loneliness is palpable. Imagery is awesome.
Nicely done Rohit!
