Precious Pearls

In the silvery grey mist
I sit by the hill slopes
Shrouded in tiny drops of dew
My senses lost with floating thoughts a few

I speak to him, he speaks to me
Me and my phantom
Far away from the maddening crowd
A fragrant valley of deafening silence

I glance around, my eyes explore
Everything brimming with hope
Lost I am, do not search for me
I today lay in peace

The world seems so futile
I doubt my existence
Where am I, Where should I be?
Time has paused, my moment is here!

I savor my floating expressions
I behold my moment, my precious pearls.

Hello.
It's not always easy to take time out for ourselves in this hustle & bustle of a life.
Writing poetry & listening to my favorite singer, the great Mukesh Chand Mathur, are my escapes & my "me" time.
Nicely penned!
Thanks for sharing & visiting. I appreciate the comment.

Some heavy questions out there. And the irony, none can solve them yet we have to go on.
